Apr 29, 2020 · The U.S. Air Force has officially authorized the use of two-piece flight suits while on duty. Starting immediately, the two-piece flight suit — otherwise known as the two-piece flight duty uniform, or "2PFDU" — is authorized to be worn in both garrison and deployed locations, the service said in a news release April 22, 2019.
